The Faculty of Biology has a modern Computer Room (PC-Lab), which is located two (2) floors below the Deanship of the School of Science (next to the Reading Room)
The Computer Room (PC-Lab) was established and became operational in April 2008, on the initiative and care of the then Faculty's Chairman, Associate Professor Constantinos A. Thanos. It has twenty (20)Personal Computers HP Compaq dx 7400 Microtower, CPU: Core 2 Duo E6550, RAM: 1 GB PC2 - 5300 (DDR2 - 667), HDD: 160 GB SATA NCQ HDD SMART IV 1st ALL, DVD: SATA 16X SuperMulti LightScribe 1st Drv, equipped with operating system WINDOWS VISTA Business32 System Recover GRK, software applications suitable for its mission (2007 Microsoft Office GRK etc.) and connected to the Internet through the University of Athens broadband network infrastructure.

A Tripartite Operation Committee, comprising of the Faculty's Chairman, a Faculty Member and the Computer Room's Administrator (Systems Administrator) has overall responsibility for proper functioning, development and utilization of the Computer Room.
Computer Room's Administrator has overall responsibility for proper operation, technical support, supervision, protection and security of the Room's equipment and software, as well as the responsibility for maintaining order and taking the necessary measures to address problems. He is also responsible for the unhindered functioning of the Room's link to the wider university's network
